Berryessa area San Jose,Community Events

Berryessa in San Jose had its yearly Art and Wine Festival on Saturday, May 12, 2012. It was a great day filled with many arts and crafts, wine booths, and many community business booths including our Berryessa Business Association to promote the business in the Berryessa Area.  Our Council Member candidates were there as well.  This important event not only promoted but informed members in our community of businesses in the Berryessa area that they may not have been aware of.

Another upcoming event that will be taking place on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in Berryessa will be the Amgen Tour at the Berryessa Community Center which is located at 3050 Berryessa Rd.

Loan Modification

Last evening I met with a client that I been helping with the process of modifying her home loan. She had received the documents from the bank for the Approved Loan Modification. This is my 3rd Loan Modification that I have had the privilege of successfully completing therefore saving 3 homes from Foreclosure or Sort Sale. In my opinion one of the most rewarding things I have done is saving a home owner’s home allowing them to remain in their home with a much lower monthly payment instead of them having their home taken from them due to a foreclosure or short sale.

If you have any questions regarding a Loan Modification or Short Sale and would like a free consultation please call me at 408-821-1291 or email me at fccrealty@gmail.com.

FHFA House Price Index Up 0.3 Percent in February

Washington, DC – U.S. house prices  rose 0.3 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis from
January to February, according to the Federal Housing Finance Agency’s monthly House Price
Index.  While prices in January were unchanged according to initial estimates reported in the
last HPI release, the January result has been  revised  downward to reflect a 0.5 percent
decrease.  For the 12 months ending in February, U.S. prices rose 0.4 percent, the first
12-month increase since the July 2006 – July 2007 interval.  The U.S. index remains 19.4
percent below its April 2007 peak and is roughly the same as the January 2004 index level.
The FHFA monthly index is calculated using purchase prices of houses backing mortgages that
have been sold to or guaranteed by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.  For the nine census divisions,
seasonally adjusted monthly price changes from January to February ranged from -1.0 percent
in the  West  North  Central and Middle Atlantic divisions  to  +1.9 percent in the  Mountain
division.
